The project explores the fascinating intersection of art and architecture by transforming the two-dimensional worlds of paintings into immersive, three-dimensional spaces. It begins with a detailed analysis of paintings from different time periods, examining their use of perspective, spatial representation, and narrative techniques. These artistic elements are then reinterpreted and reimagined in 3D environments, creating architectural spaces that allow users to step into the scenes depicted in the artworks.
Drawing inspiration from filmmaking techniques, such as cinematography and spatial storytelling, the project explores space through the lens of the human body and its movement. By positioning the user as an active participant, it emphasizes the experiential discovery of architecture. Advanced artificial intelligence tools are employed to simulate movement and interaction within these spaces, making the design process both exploratory and collaborative.
The project not only aims to design spaces that reflect and enhance the essence of the original paintings but also investigates the diverse representations and forms of space across the history. It explores how different artistic and cultural contexts have shaped the perception and depiction of space. The result is a narrative that transcends traditional artistic boundaries, offering a unique dialogue between art and architecture while redefining how we perceive and experience space.
