Hümeyra Çam is an architect and researcher with a multidisciplinary background in architectural design, immersive technologies, and digital curation. She holds a Master of Architecture degree with distinction from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where she studied under Sam Jacob, Hani Rashid, and Greg Lynn. Her thesis explores the intersection of architecture, AI, and spatial storytelling through generative design and real-time visualization.
She has worked as a researcher at the Austrian Institute of Technology’s City Intelligence Lab, contributing to projects on hybrid co-urban planning using Unreal Engine and 3D simulations. Hümeyra’s work has been exhibited and published internationally, including at Ars Electronica in Linz and Sonar Festival in Barcelona, highlighting her interest in the convergence of digital media, artificial intelligence, and architectural space.
Through her academic and professional experiences in Vienna and Istanbul, she continues to explore experimental approaches to architecture that blur the boundaries between physical and virtual environments.
